The 2002 Miata event that we chose to attend this year was held in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. We'd never been 'North of the Border', and thought it was a good opportunity to sample some of what Canada had to offer. When we checked the dates, we found that the event would be over 6 days before our annual week at the beach in Tosail Island, NC, so we decided to tie the two trips together. We left St. Peters on July 2, spent the Fourth of July in Niagara Falls, and then continued to Ottawa for the event. It finished on Sunday, July 7 and we spent Sunday night in Canada before heading south on Monday morning. A stop in Norfolk to visit friends, then on to Raleigh, NC for some more 'visits' before heading on to Topsail. We enjoyed a week at the beach with friends and family, then headed home on Saturday, July 20...took a leisurely drive back and arrived home on Monday, July 22...just one day short of 3 weeks on the road in the Miata...and logged 3,760 miles. We hope you enjoy the pictures...click on them to see a larger version.

Three weeks...and here's where we went.
